Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. She was not allowed to begin acting with her parents till she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the stress it would cause. Perry says she didn't want to be an actor in highschool but decided to start acting as a social activity during her time at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Perry was a graduate of Boston University, moved to New York in search of TV roles. Her small part was in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California in search of theater jobs. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning film Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. Perry was in nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family during 2016. In 2017, Perry had the role of a political thriller Scandal alongside her father. That same year she appeared as a younger character based on Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) in which she played her mother in a younger version. The role was given an audition to the actress, regardless of the fact that she is a relative to the role.
