Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer, and actress best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Tina Louise began her acting career as a stage actor in the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. The following year, she made her debut album of music It's the right time to Tina. Louise's first venture into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career in between Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber role as opposed her image as an glamor girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has made a mark as a director of various popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965 her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. She spent the majority of her youth there, and later her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
