Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actor and singer-songwriter hailing born in St. Louis Missouri. Most famous for her role as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music can be heard in television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on the 26th of July 1993. she is the sister of Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. In a Shake 'n Bake advertising campaign in 1997, Momsen was the first to make a professional appearance when she was three. Momsen suffered a career break of over three years before she was cast as the main character in Misconceptions, a WB television show. Momsen also appeared at the time in the movie Saving Shiloh (2006). Momsen was also considered for auditioning for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, her title role went for Miley Cyrus.
