Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the only female ever to win the CrossFit Games two times. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and media celebrity. The popular athlete is the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she won her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was brought up with her family at Reykjavik Iceland. When she was a kid she was an avid lover of exercise and sports. She took part in a variety of school events and earned several medals. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as of 2021). Her height is about 5'7 and weighs approximately 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was impressive during her first competitions. She placed at the top of the list in 70 athletes. She was not able to earn any titles, and finished 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won the silver medal same year. The following year, she participated again with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She was the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie again won the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman who has won the two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many other. The self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 subscribers, where she posts videos of her family, travel and other topics as well as training diets.
